Meet our Board Members
Sally Seefried
Sally and her husband, David, founded Ambassadors International Ministries. She is a long term pastor’s wife and missionary, having served in Germany and in Africa.
Mike Schmidt
Director
Mike graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the USAF Academy and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Stanford. He has worked as an engineer and project/program manager throughout the bulk of his career. His military service included living overseas in four locations totaling ten years. In the 90’s, he served for three years as an assistant pastor in Germany for Pastor Seefried. Mike has served as an elder and Sunday School teacher for over 25 years in several churches and is currently ministering at NorthWord Church in Monument, CO. Mike and his wife, Karen, have been married over 46 years and have four children.
Michael Seefried
Director of Operations/Executive Committee
Michael works as an Educational Administrator. He and his wife, Kim, are graduates of Baptist Bible College of PA. They have experience in working with missions and they have completed Candidate School with a Baptist mission agency. They have lived, worked, and traveled to many countries overseas.
Dr. Paul Montany
Vice-Chairman
Dr. Paul Montany is a thoracic surgeon, Colonel, USAF Academy graduate, and graduate of Georgetown University Medical School. Paul and his wife, Sara, have lived abroad often while in the military and his daughter served as a short term missionary at The Pines.
Mike Eayrs
Mike graduated from the USAF Academy with a bachelor's degree in International
Affairs and holds a master’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Now
retired, Mike was a former Air Force officer and financial planner and owned a
technology consulting business for over 20 years. Mike was born overseas, lived in
seven different countries, and has traveled to many others. Mike and his wife, Fran,
have been married for over 40 years, have two grown children, and currently reside in
Colorado Springs, Colorado. They are members of Village Seven Presbyterian Church.
Joyce Parker
Secretary
Joyce holds a master’s degree in education. She has lived abroad and has been to Africa with AIMI. Her father, who has passed away, was a pastor on Long Island and a leader among the Baptist pastors in that area.
Phil Carmichael
Director of Operations
Philip Carmichael, a third generation missionary to Africa grew up in West Africa. He
and his wife Alana served in Mali, West Africa through the late “80s through early 2000s
before relocating to South Africa in 2003. In 2009 they joined the team at The Pines
Christian Care Center for Children in Welkom, South Africa filling the position of
General Manager through 2021. They are currently involved in Promoting, Recruitment
and Fund raising for the ministry in Welkom and Phil has recently joined the Board of
Directors for Ambassadors International Ministries.
